Performer Mehry Tavasoli,  Making video from photo, time 00:01:04  چادر، خرداد 1387 (خانه پدری، خرم آباد)اجراگرمهری توسلی، ساخت ویدئو ازعکس، زمان 00:01:04   In the “Chador “, I put on my veil since we have always been together, ever since I was 9, Sometimes out of divine love and sometimes out of hatred.   ويدئوآرت “چادر”، خانم جواني را نشان مي‌دهد كه مدام چادرهايي با گل‌هاي مختلف به سر مي‌كشد و در پايان چادر سياه به سر مي‌كرد. اين كار نمايشي بود از گوناگوني رنگ و نقش پوشش زنان در دوره كوتاهي كه آن را خود تجربه كرده‌ام.

She goes everywhere wanderer.  ———————————————————————————————————————————————————— What I have done here, is a symbol of “Hallucination”. The thing is unseen, but it challenges the mind, what sometimes is the most beautiful and pleasant and sometimes is the most dreadful one. Since the human being is a complex creature, I put human clothes on “Hallucination”, and since I am a woman, I imagined my “Hallucination” as a skirt. I was brought up it among people who are familiar with tribal and rural life. That made me to be interested in their customs and clothes. So, my hallucination clothes were made of colorful cloth, that native women are interested in it. I added some bells to it that has been a part of tribal life decoration. I hide many bells under my skirt, so with “Hallucination” movement a tribal voice was echoed. I performed “Hallucination” in Hormuz Island, where people believe in creatures who are not visible. “Hallucination” goes everywhere, among quiet alleys of island, saline lands and roaring beach. To visualize “Hallucination”, I was accompanied by Makan Ashury, Mohammad Mehdi Motevali Taher and my dear sister Razieh Goudarzi.         “وهم”  که  دامن منگوله دار بزرگی پوشیده، زنگوله‌هایی که نشان از ایلیاتی بودنش دارد، پنهان کرده. او سرگردان به هرجایی می‌رود. ————————————————————————————————————  آنچه که به آن پرداختم، نمادیست از وَهم؛ همان که دیده نمی شود؛ ولی ذهن را درگیر می کند. همان که گاه زیباست و دل انگیز و گاه بسیار وحشتناک. از آنجا که انسان موجودی پیچیده است، بر وهم لباسی انسانی پوشاندم و چون زن هستم، وهمم را با دامن تصور کردم. من در میان افرادی بزرگ شده ‏ام، که با زندگی ایلیاتی و روستایی آشنا هستند و این باعث شده که به رسم‏ ها و  لباس‏هایشان علاقه‏مند شوم؛ و لباس وهمم از پارچه‏ های رنگینی تهیه شد که مورد علاقه زنان بومی منطقه‏ ام هستند و تعدادی منگوله به آن اضافه کردم، که جزء تزیینات زندگی ایلیاتیست. زنگوله های زیادی به زیر دامنم مخفی کردم، تا با حرکت وهم، صدایی ایلیاتی در فضا، طنین انداز شود. وهم را در جزیره هرمز اجرا کردم؛ منطقه ای که مردمش به حضور موجوداتی باور دارند که دیده نمی ‏شوند. وهمم به هرکجا سرک می کشد؛ در میان کوچه های خلوت جزیره، زمین های نمکین و ساحل خروشان. برای به تصویر کشیدن وَهم، ماکان عاشوری، محمد مهدی متولی طاهر و خواهرم راضیه گودرزی در کنار من بودند.

Sometimes I exist, because I can change currents Sometimes I do not exist and currents pass on me, like a stone in the huge river way or a small rock at the seaside.    در بودن یا نبودنم تردید دارم.  گاه هستم؛ چون می‌توانم جریان‌های همیشگی را تغییر دهم.  گاه نیستم و جریان‌ها بی‌اعتنا از من عبور می‌کنند؛ مثل یک سنگی در مسیر رودخانه‌ای بزرگ یا صخره‌ کوچکی کنار ساحل دریا.

    Womanish color, 2015 (Video Artist, Group Exhibition Siyahmard Clothing Produce, Tehran, Iran) رنگ زنانه، 1394 (سیاه مرد، نمایشگاه گروهی ویدئوآرتیست، تهران)   Every year, on a given day, hundreds black-clad women come to achieve their rainbow wishes to Girls’ Garden Neighborhood with bare feet and the face behind the mask and silent.   هر سال در یک روز معین، صدها زن تیره پوش، با پای برهنه و چهره‏ در پشت نقاب، آرام و بی صدا، به محله باغ دختران می ‏آیند در پی برآورده شدن آرزوهای رنگین‏شان.

Time 00:01:09  از سری مجموعه سبزه، 1401 (برای جشنواره هنر محیطی کوچرو فرانسه؛ سراب باقلا، لرستان). زمان 00:01:09   We grew up in a place where was not too strange; Heavy and rooted in cold soil; When we became fertile and thought of reaching perfection, Our desire to became light and to scatter towards existence and non-existence.   Explanation: In the text, “we” means Canebrake and Human (maybe me). بر مکانی نه -کاملاغریب- روییدیم؛ سنگین و پا بسته؛ چو به بار نشستیم و به کمال اندیشیدیم، اشتیاق مان شد سبک بودن و پراکنده شدن به سوی هستی و نیستی.

In the yard of a house that was only a few days away from being destroyed.   چاهی بود با فریادی عمیق! در حیاط خانه ای که چند روز بیشتر به ویرانیش نمانده بود.          

  An acquaintance, May 2011 (Khorramabad) Cameraman & Editor: Makan Ashori, Photograph by Mehdi Motevalli, time 00:03:14   یک آشنا، اردیبهشت 1390 (خرم آباد). فیلم برداری و تدوین از ماکان آشوری، عکاس:محمد مهدی متولی طاهر، زمان00:03:14 “An acquaintance” is a collaboration project with more than 200 girls aged 11 to 14 years old and their teacher Tara Goudarzi. They made different masks with recycle fibers, cloths and beads. These masks are using for rice cooking which are locally called “Takale” in Khorramabad, Iran. Students have made these with the help of a mom or a grandma at home. Lorestan, is an old land where has the first habitants in history. They are used to recycle. Also, needlework and patchwork are very common as a traditional recycle. In this work the round shape is picked as a symbol of a human head to show the existence of the creator and creativity of the artist. All students optionally have taken part in this project. Their masks have characters that they are either their families, friends or neighbors and sometimes themselves. This project is a performance which presents by video art or photo art. در كار ” یک آشنا ” هر كدام از دختران یک نوع دست دوز را ارائه نمودند که این کار، جزء وسایل روزمره در آشپزخانه قابل استفاده است. این دست دوز “دمکن” است که برای پخت برنج از آن استفاده می‌شود و در گویش محلی به آن “تکله” می‌گویند. دختران، اين سوزن‌دوز را با ياردیگری در خانه؛ مثل مادر يا مادر بزرگ انجام دادند و از پارچه‌هاي بازيافتي ومهره‌ها و دكمه‌هاي كهنه استفاده کرده‌اند. در كار مشاركتي ” یک آشنا” دست‌دوخت‌ها، شكل دايره دارند و به خاطر شباهت دايره با سر انسان، اين انتخاب صورت گرفته تا نشاني باشد از وجود و هنر آفريننده‌اش. در اين كار، بيش از 200 صورتک، با شکل‌های متفاوت، توسط دختران 11 تا 14 ساله ، ساخته شده ‌است.

    Sommer Mold, July 2010 (Khorramabad). time 00:01:36  کپک تابستانی، تیر ماه 1389 (خرم آباد). زمان 00:01:36   I kept the plum seeds that my mother had prepared for making fruit leather for some time so that flowers of mold would grow on them. The growth of these mushrooms is as beautiful as the greenery of Nowruz.   دانه‌ آلوهايي كه براي ساخت لواشك مادرم تهيه كرده بود، براي مدتي نگهداري كردم تا گل‌هاي كپك به روي آن‌ها رشد كند. رشد اين قارچ‌ها همانند سبز شدن سبزه عيد برايم زيباست.
